be the hero of your own story.

What does your book look like?
We all have a story. Just like the main character in every great story, each of us comes with a unique blend of experiences, strengths, interests, and beliefs that shape who we are.
Maybe you're in a difficult chapter right now. Maybe your story so far has been marked by pain, loss, anxiety, or self-doubt. Whatever your past holds, whatever you are going through, does not define your future.
I’m here to help you become the hero of your own story. To take the pen into your hands and write the next chapters with intention and purpose.
As Winston Churchill once said, “History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it.”
While we may not be able to control everything life throws our way, we can choose the habits we build and the mindsets we carry. And in doing so, we shape the path ahead—one page at a time.
As a therapist, I take a person-centered approach that honors your uniqueness of skills, interests, goals, and experiences. Therapy is your time, you are in control. Your voice matters here. You deserve to be heard and get all you wish to out of therapy. Our work together is collaborative because although I am the ‘expert’ of therapy, you are the expert of your life. As your therapist one of my roles is to serve as guide, helping you make sense of the complexities of your internal and external world and offering support, wisdom, and input when necessary.
I strive to help those I work with not only get through the hard times they are enduring, but build the mental and emotional skills and character traits they need to thrive in the present and future.
“
If you want your life to be a great story—like a great movie filled with adventure, comedy, romance, action, and thrills—then remember: when things inevitably don’t go as planned, that’s when your movie’s plot is just getting interesting.

What to expect in therapy with me…
Being heard and seen.
One of my core beliefs as a therapist is to validate every feeling and be empathetic of every situation. You have every right to feel however you feel. I, nor anyone else for that matter, has the right to tell you what you should or should not be feeling. I will see and honor you for who you really are, regardless of past mistakes or any shame you carry. This your space to be seen without needing to put on a front and your time to be heard without fearing judgement or condemnation.
You’re in control.
You are the expert of your own life. As a therapist, I do not to give you answers; but ask the right questions that lead you to your own answers. Our work together is collaborative and structured around your comfort level, strengths, skills, interests, and goals. Your voice, your opinion is not only accepted here, but needed.
I’ll be by your side.
You are the hero of your own story. I am just the side character that shows up at a key point in the plot and provides you input, guidance, support, and understanding. I will help you better understand the complexities of your internal and external world so that you can move towards a life you want. I will support you when it seems like nothing is going right. I will strategize with you on the best ways to move forward. I will cheer you on and root for you every step of the journey. When necessary, I will be honest and direct with you in ways that are considerate and filled with grace.
